Where the Road Begins

Well this is my first night at the Webster campus in Rolla, Missouri. Many people thought of my graduation in May as the the point where the road ends as far as education is concerned. Not for me! I feel it it where the road is just beginning, that i have just been walking down a small, winding, and sometimes very rocky path just to find my way to that road. I am looking forward to this new road with anticipation for myself as well as my cohorts. I am glad to say that I have the best G.P.S. on the earth which is Dr. Watkins. She gave me direction so many years ago on that first day of class in 2003 when I took my first step onto that path, and I am glad she is here lending her experteise navigation skills to set me on my course in the journey that lies ahead. I know I am ready to take that walk!!

  • Love your comparison of global positioning strategy to your Webster professor's guidance--best wishes in this new journey!

  • Well my friend, it did not end in May! We stood by each other at graduation and now we are in our second session! I know we will stand by each other when we graduate Webster!!

  • Roxy, I hope you can help me when I get confused. Seems like I stay that way a lot lately. I am enjoying the experience so far!
